In April, as spring is in full bloom and flowers are in full splendor, the Luoyang Peony Festival is about to kick off—making it the perfect time for a getaway. To further enrich and enliven the cultural lives of our company employees, allow them to relax and rejuvenate after work, feel the care and attention their company provides, enhance team cohesion, and boost their enthusiasm for work, Luoyang Qingjie Lubricant Technology Co., Ltd. organized a 2021 company team-building flower-viewing event yesterday.
The employees took the newly launched Line 1 of the Luoyang Metro from Yangwan Station, passing along the way by various tourist attractions—including Lijing Gate and Yingtian Gate—before finally arriving at today’s destination, Luoyang Wangcheng Park. On the train, the employees were filled with laughter and joy, each one wearing a cheerful smile on their face.
Luoyang Wangcheng Park was founded in 1955 and is situated on the site of the Eastern Zhou Royal City ruins—the national key cultural relic protection unit—west of the Luoyang City Cultural Center. Covering an area of 1,080 mu, the park comprises several sections, including an ancient cultural zone, a peony garden, an animal exhibit, and an amusement park. It is China’s first archaeological site park and has served as the main venue for successive Peony Festivals.
As the main venue and flower-viewing hub for past Peony Festivals in Luoyang City, Wangcheng Park boasts over 800 varieties of peonies, totaling 110,000 plants. The peak blooming period for peonies typically falls from early to mid-April.
On the way into the park to enjoy the flowers, everyone was filled with laughter and cheerful chatter, looking out for one another and taking photos to cherish the moment. This helped ease the fatigue from their daily work. The beautiful scenery and the figures of everyone blended together seamlessly, creating a breathtakingly lovely scene.
Through this team-building flower-viewing activity, we not only appreciated the beautiful scenery, relaxed our minds and bodies, and relieved the stress of work and life, but also fostered better communication and interaction among colleagues from different departments. This, in turn, has strengthened collaboration and unity in our daily work, creating a warm and supportive “big family” atmosphere. As a result, employees are now able to devote themselves to their work with even greater enthusiasm and contribute their part to the company’s high-quality development. This team-building flower-viewing event fully showcased the sunny, positive, and energetic spirit of Qingjie employees, enhancing mutual communication and deepening their sense of belonging to the company. It has cultivated a harmonious atmosphere of solidarity and forward momentum, playing a positive role in driving the company’s vigorous growth and development.
